Standard 1Year Warranty
Warranty covers DVR system, DVR and camera(s) excluding other peripherals, comes with 1 year Standard Warranty from the date of purchase and limited to original purchaser and location only. Customer is eligible to receive support at no cost during 1st year, technical support by phone or site visit. Standard parts and labor applies if it needs to be repaired.
The warranty is voided in the event of external or internal physical damage, damage due to power surge and improper use, and acts of God.
30 Days from the Purchase
On site service, at no cost, is available only after necessary shooting process conducted by technicians to determine the needs upon approval by MBS. Such service is restricted geographically thus available only within Illinois.
Customers requiring such service from outside of City boundary obligated to ship the product to MBS at own expense. MBS will pay for the repair and return shipping fee if it is covered by Warranty. On site service requires trip charges depending on customers’ location from MBS.
Standard 1Year Warranty

Customer may purchase 1 Year Extended Warranty at any time during and prior to Warranty expires. Cost of Extended Warranty is 30% of invoice price before any discounts. Shipping and handling charges does not apply.
Customer is responsible for all Shipping and Handling charges. If product is covered by manufacturer’s warranty then customer is responsible to deliver such product to MBS at their cost whereas MBS is to pay for returning to original purchaser. MBS is not responsible for any damages occurred by shipping.
Exclusion of Warranty
Customer is responsible to maintain and conduct proper usage according to manufacturer and MBS’ recommendation and its guidelines. Warranty voids if customer tempers and engages in improper usage including Internet access from DVR, virus infection from Internet access from DVR and unauthorized third party software installation including word processor, POS and any other applications.
Wires, cables, and any other accessories are not covered by any warranty.
Customer may return within 14 days from date of purchase. Upon purchase, only even exchange can be made when the product is new AND unused in its original condition & packaging. Customer is responsible for all shipping and handling charges. Restocking: 20% restocking charge applies when product is returned used and/or returned after installation at site. All packaging included with the product such as manual, accessories, cables, etc. must be present in original condition. Customer is responsible for any missing parts and will be billed accordingly.
Accepted returns will be credited back as same method of payment after the 20% restocking fee. Shipping and handling costs are non refundable. Products that are found to have no problems will be subject to a return shipping charge.
It is customer’s responsibility to obtain all necessary work permits required by local ordinance and by building management. No work or technician will be dispatched unless all local approval is completed and paid for by customer.
Any changes requested after signing an installation layout, if physically & technically possible, will be charged extra per request depending on task and its difficulties. It is usually determined by person in charge of installation at site but an average $95 per change, indoor changes exceeding 5 feet, and $195 per any change request for outdoor installation. Please note that rates may change without notification and such associated changes may not show yet on this document.
How to request Warranty, Return and Repair Service
You must follow the instruction below to return/exchange.
- All returns/ exchanges/ repairs require RMA number assigned from MBS. RMA number needs to be printed on the exterior shipping box and not on the actual product box. Any products returned without RMA number will be returned back to the shipper at his/her own costs. MBS will not be responsible for RMA shipments without RMA numbers on the box.
(RMA numbers are only valid for 15 days from the original issued date. After the 15 day period, a new RMA number must be issued in order to process your request.)
- When shipping back the return products, you must provide a copy of your original sales receipt or invoice. On the invoice, please put the RMA number and brief description of the problem/reason of the return.
